Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join a rental and leasing services organization in Acheson on a contract basis. This role supports new and existing customer accounts, with a focus on credit assessment, collections, account management, and maintaining healthy receivables.

Responsibilities:

- Review new accounts, assess creditworthiness, and determine appropriate credit terms and limits.
- Monitor customer accounts, payment history, and credit exposure, recommending adjustments as needed.
- Manage collections by following up on overdue balances and securing payment commitments.
- Partner with sales and internal teams to support customer onboarding and resolve account issues.
- Process credit card payments, provide invoice copies, and maintain accurate account records.
- Investigate and resolve billing issues and customer account disputes.
- Negotiate and monitor payment arrangements for customers experiencing payment challenges.
- Review credit bureau reports and financial information to support credit and collection decisions.
- Manage high-volume account activity across assigned territories while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit administration, or B2B collections.
- Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Robust knowledge of credit assessment, collections, account review, and credit release practices.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive payment discussions professionally.




- Ability to remain composed and confident when handling high-volume workloads and challenging collections.
- Strong negotiation and judgment skills with a collaborative approach to customer and internal relationships.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting, CRM, or ERP systems is an asset.
