Job Summary

Fort Sask Reno is looking for a skilled and dependable Renovation Carpenter / Construction Technician to join our construction and restoration team. We are a well-established local renovation company with strong Google reviews, a growing YouTube channel, and a reputation for quality workmanship, clear communication, and taking care of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction, repairs, renovations, and restoration work. This role requires confidence using hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment, along with a solid understanding of construction practices, safety, and quality standards. You will be involved in a variety of projects including carpentry, framing, siding, concrete repairs, structural work, restoration, and general renovation tasks.

Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding construction plans, drawings, and job details in order to complete work accurately and efficiently. Daily tasks may include framing, siding installation, carpentry repairs, concrete forming and finishing, structural repairs, demolition, restoration work, and general renovation duties.

You will be expected to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment, assist with material handling and heavy lifting, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow all company safety procedures.



This position also requires strong teamwork, good communication, and a commitment to completing projects on schedule while maintaining Fort Sask Reno’s standard of quality.

Experience

Candidates should have proven experience in construction, renovations, carpentry, siding, concrete work, restoration, or a related trade. Experience reading plans or construction drawings is considered an asset. Familiarity with power tools, framing, finishing, demolition, repairs, and general residential renovation work is important.

Experience operating equipment or performing welding is an asset but not required. The right candidate must be physically capable of lifting materials, working on their feet for extended periods, and handling the demands of an active construction site.
