Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Plumbing Foreman/woman to lead and oversee plumbing operations on construction sites. This pivotal role involves managing a team of plumbers, ensuring projects adhere to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and timelines. The ideal candidate will possess robust supervisory skills, extensive construction experience, and a passion for delivering top-tier plumbing solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure efficient workflow
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate plumbing activities within project schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing systems.
- Previous
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work complies with codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Manage procurement of materials, track inventory, and control project budgets related to plumbing components
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Primavera P6 for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce safety protocols,
and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members
- Proven supervising experience in plumbing or construction projects with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation techniques
- Extensive construction experience with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
- Familiarity with construction management software including Procore
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and best practices in construction environments
- Trimble total station experience with site lay out.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with project stakeholdersPreferred qualifications include experience in construction management software applications like ProCore or Bluebeam, schematics interpretation skills, budgeting expertise, and prior experience supervising plumbing teams on large-scale projects. Pay: $53.20-$77.92 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 50.0 per week
