POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Receiver/Shunter at the Hickson, Ontario processing plant. The successful candidate will be required to work an Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday from 3pm – 11pm plus overtime as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct pre-inspections of equipment prior to use
- Move and dump trailers into production process areas
- Monitor dispatch sheets to prioritize dumping of trailers
- Maintain housekeeping of working areas
- Accurately fill out any required production or quality paperwork
- Operate backhoe and forklifts
- Follow all workplace health & safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Valid Class G drivers' license
- Previous heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have the ability to lift, push and pull between 50+ pounds
- Bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, leaning, climbing, extended hours of walking and/or standing
