Toronto East Tree Removal

Toronto

Toronto East Storm Tree Removal & Clean-Up Service is seeking established, professional tree-removal subcontractors and arborist crews to help complete overflow storm-damage work across Toronto’s east end.

This is an immediate-start opportunity for qualified crews that can safely assess, dismantle, rig, remove, chip, haul, and clean up storm-damaged trees and limbs on residential and small commercial properties.

We manage customer intake, site coordination, quotes, scheduling, and client communication. You provide the skilled technical tree-work capability, qualified crew members, applicable equipment, and required documentation.

Scope of work

Assigned work may include:

Storm-damaged tree and large-limb removal

Hazard-limb and broken-branch removal

Sectional dismantling and rigging near homes, fences, garages, and other structures

Controlled felling where site conditions allow

Chipping, hauling, debris removal, and site clean-up

Stump grinding where your crew has the equipment and capability

On-site assessment support, including photos and notes for tree condition, access, hazards, and recommended work approach

Potential follow-on pruning, maintenance, and removal work after the immediate storm-response period

Mandatory qualifications

To be considered, you must be an established independent contractor or arborist crew and be able to provide all of the following before receiving work:

Current WSIB clearance certificate

Current commercial general liability insurance certificate, with at least $2 million in coverage

ISA Certified Arborist credential held by the lead arborist or demonstrated equivalent professional arboriculture qualifications and experience

Working-at-Heights training for every team member who climbs or uses fall-protection equipment

Demonstrated experience with tree climbing, rigging, sectional dismantling, chainsaw use, controlled felling, and storm-damage assessment

Appropriate PPE and professionally maintained tree-work equipment

Reliable truck, trailer, chipper, saws, rigging gear,

and haul-away capability, or a clear statement of the equipment you can supply

Ability to provide invoices and work as an independent subcontractor

Reliable communication, punctuality, and qualified customer conduct

Important safety requirements

Safety is non-negotiable. We will not assign work involving trees, limbs, or equipment in contact with—or close enough to endanger workers around—live power lines or electrical infrastructure. Those situations must be referred to Toronto Hydro, Hydro One, or a qualified utility-line-clearance specialist.

All crews must complete a documented site safety review before beginning work and comply with applicable Ontario health and safety requirements. Work must stop if site conditions become unsafe.

You must also be prepared to work within City of Toronto tree-protection requirements. For protected trees or non-obvious storm hazards, job documentation may be required before removal proceeds.
