Our client located in Brampton is looking for experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to operate heavy equipment for compacting asphalt surfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with driveway jobs and demonstrate proficiency in compaction techniques and equipment operation.
Position: Asphalt Roller Operator
Location: Brampton
Shift: 8 am - 6 pm
Pay: $25 to $30 / hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in valuable working condition.
- Roll gravel and asphalt using the correct pattern and overlap to achieve optimal compaction and smooth finish.
- Operate a Skidsteer to excavate and prepare old driveways for resurfacing.
- Perform shoeing and finish areas that are inaccessible to the roller.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Roller Operator with a strong background in driveway jobs.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and understanding of compaction techniques.
- Ability to conduct pre-operation inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
