ABOUT THE POSITION

Nahanni Construction Ltd. is hiring Equipment Operators and Drivers at our various project sites. The successful candidates will work on a rotational schedule in a remote work camp workplace.

We are seeking Operators who are qualified for the safe and effective operation of the following equipment:

- Excavator – up to 50T
- 10T Vibratory Roller
- Skid Steer
- Zoom Boom / Telehandler
- Articulated Trucks
- Concrete Mixer Trucks
- 25-Passenger Bus / 40-Passenger Bus

SCOPE

- Safely and effectively operate equipment;
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure both the safety of those around and the integrity of the equipment;
- Perform daily safety inspections on designated equipment to ensure that it is safe to operate;
- Effectively communicate with other team members.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience operating the equipment associated with the position.
- Experience on detailed placement, excavation and/or finished grading is required for excavator operators.




- Experience working in an industrial setting.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Ability to work in a team-based, safety-oriented environment.
- Concrete Mixer Truck Drivers require a valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence with Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Bus Drivers operating buses with more than 25 passengers require a valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
- Bus Drivers operating buses with up to 25 passengers require a valid Class 4 Driver’s Licence.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Nahanni provides competitive pay and benefits. Compensation is dependent on experience.
- Nahanni pays for and books travel to and from the project site. In addition, employees are entitled to a rotational travel allowance.
