Your Opportunity:

Recovery Alberta is seeking a Temporary Full time Social Worker to join the Wood Buffalo Addiction & Mental Health Services (WAMHS) Walk-In Team in Fort McMurray. We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate professional to provide services to clients of all ages in both individual and group settings. In this role, you will work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-informed care through crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment services. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, RA currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description:

As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment,



risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.
