We are seeking two experienced Senior Computer Application Support Specialists (CAS) to provide on-site service desk and technical support. The successful candidates will support networking environments, end-user systems, applications, account management, troubleshooting, and IT service management activities.Candidates must be available for the full contract duration, able to work in office in Petawawa, Ontario, and meet all mandatory security and language requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Candidates must demonstrate experience and capability in the following areas:

- Experience working in a networking environment.
- Ability to configure network software and ensure compatibility among relevant:
- Programs
- Utilities
- Hardware
- Peripherals
- Detailed knowledge of commonly used:
- Software applications
- Operating systems
- Communication protocols
- Ability to ensure systems operate at maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Experience utilizing and supporting communication features.
- Strong system troubleshooting experience, including:
- Printer troubleshooting
- CPU/system troubleshooting




- Experience providing 1st line service desk support and troubleshooting through remote connections.
- Experience in 1st line service support for account management, including:
- Account creation
- Account modifications
- Account movement/transfer
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD), including:
- File management
- Object management
- Experience working with online service management/ticketing systems.
- Experience with EITSM Assyst is considered a strong asset and will be given preference.

Mandatory RequirementsSecurity Clearance

- Valid Reliability Clearance is mandatory.
- Candidates must be able to provide proof of security clearance.
- Contract start is contingent upon a valid VCR.

- Position 1: English
- Position 2: Bilingual – English and French

Location

- Candidates must be willing and able to work 100% on-site in Petawawa, Ontario.

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
