Job Summary

Caribbean Stove PickUp is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic individual to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and can perform well in a busy takeout restaurant environment. You will help take customer orders, process payments, prepare and package food, keep the work area clean, and make sure every order is accurate and ready on time.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take walk-in, phone, and pickup orders accurately.
- Enter orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
- Prepare, portion, package, and organize takeout orders.
- Double-check orders before giving them to customers.
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties when required.
- Maintain proper food presentation and portion sizes.
- Keep counters, kitchen areas, service stations, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Restock containers, utensils, sauces, beverages, and other supplies.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Recommend menu items and add-ons to customers when appropriate.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining friendly customer service.
- Perform other restaurant duties as required to support the team.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant, takeout, fast-food,



cashier, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Comfortable learning and using a POS system.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform regular restaurant duties.
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn.
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.
