We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our client in Etobicoke.

Shift: Monday to Friday from 5am-1:30pm

Duties

- Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including but not limited to slicing, grinding, and packaging various types of meat.
- Operating a band saw to portion lamb cuts accurately to specification
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Experience

- Previous experience as a butcher is required.
- Previous experience with beef is required
- Proficiency in various meat cutting techniques and familiarity with different cuts of meat.
- Ability to work in a cold environment (approx. 4°C) for extended periods
- Physically fit and able to stand for the full shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
