We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused *Cheese Retail Sales Associate* to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has an interest in food and cheese, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

*Responsibilities:*

* Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.

* Answer customers’ questions about cheeses, specialty foods, and other products we offer.

* Help customers select cheeses based on their preferences, occasions, and budget.

* Learn about our products and confidently explain their flavours, origins, and characteristics.

* Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-organized sales floor, displays, and signage.

* Replenish products and ensure shelves and displays are properly stocked.

* Assist with cheese cutting, wrapping, labelling, and packaging as required.

* Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.

* Build positive and lasting relationships with customers.

* Stay up to date on new products and product knowledge through company training and available resources.

* Follow company procedures for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.





* Assist with other retail duties as needed.

### Requirements

* Previous retail or customer service experience.

* Experience in food or specialty food retail is an asset; *cheese retail experience is a strong plus*.

* A genuine interest in cheese and specialty foods; being a cheese lover is definitely a plus!

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.

* Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform light physical work, including lifting and moving products.

* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

*What We’re Looking For:*

Someone who enjoys talking to customers, is curious about cheese and food, and is willing to learn. You don't need to be a cheese expert—we can provide training. A friendly personality, good work ethic, and passion for customer service are most important.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
