Job Summary

We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide quality care and support to clients in Vaughan, Ontario.

The ideal candidate is caring, patient, reliable, and committed to helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being. This is a part-time position with shifts based on client needs and availability.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Support Worker, your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing mobility assistance and safe transfers
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding when required
- Providing medication reminders in accordance with the client’s care plan
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Performing light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
- Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or activities when required
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or behaviour
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided
- Following individualized care plans and all health and safety procedures
- Promoting client dignity, independence, privacy, and respect at all times

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate from a recognized program
- Previous experience in home care, community care,



retirement living, or long-term care is an asset
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Vulnerable Sector Check / Police Record Check may be required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence are considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client needs

Schedule

Part-time hours are available. Candidates should have some flexibility for weekday, evening, and/or weekend shifts.
