As a Warehouse Associate at our Guelph location, you will be responsible for stocking product and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse, assisting customers with loading their vehicles, and supporting the retail store associates as required. The ideal candidate will have an agricultural background or a solid interest in learning about agricultural retail while being physically capable of handling warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately, assisting with loading as needed
- Assist in daily warehouse operations, including stocking products and maintaining inventory
- Maintain high housekeeping standards while ensuring compliance with safety policies
- Operate forklift to move products as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet inventory needs and customer demands
- Provide Retail support as needed (i.e. assist customers, operate cash register)
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse distribution or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with agricultural products or livestock is an asset
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift 25kg feed bags
