Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook hot food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including supervising staff and coordinating food production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to promote a secure working environment
- Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management to minimize waste and control costs
- Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service skills




- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and excellent guest satisfaction

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant service within a busy hospitality environment
- Supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee kitchen operations confidently
- Familiarity with restaurant management principles, including inventory control and quality assurance
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering consistent results
- Additional skills such as bartending or serving experience are a plus but not mandatory

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
