Residential Cleaner – Payroll or Self-Employed

Speedy M Cleaning is growing and looking for reliable, experienced residential cleaners in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are hiring payroll employees at $21–$24 per hour and are also open to working with qualified self-employed cleaning businesses.

Payroll positions are scheduled during weekday daytime hours. These positions are well suited to people who take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and enjoy helping clients maintain clean and comfortable homes.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine residential cleaning services
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and complete other assigned cleaning tasks
- Follow client instructions and Speedy M Cleaning standards
- Handle clients’ homes, belongings, keys, and access information responsibly
- Report damages, safety concerns, supply issues, or scheduling delays promptly
- Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and management
- Work independently and as part of a cleaning team

Requirements

- Minimum one year of residential-cleaning experience
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Legally eligible to work in Canada




- Basic English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and good customer-service skills
- Able to perform the physical duties of residential cleaning
- Willing to complete a criminal background check

Self-Employed Cleaning Businesses

We are also interested in hearing from experienced self-employed cleaners who operate a genuine independent cleaning business.

Independent applicants should have their own active business, cleaning experience, insurance and any required WCB coverage. They must be able to invoice for services and should already serve, or be actively available to serve, their own clients.
