Job Description

The Technician position is a full-time, labour-oriented, attention-to-detail, see-the-results-of-your work job that is responsible for completing our exterior cleaning services. It's an important position as the Technician helps a homeowner maintain their home, which is a big part of their life.

The exterior cleaning services we provide are roof moss removal, gutter cleaning, exterior window cleaning and pressure washing areas like driveways, sidewalks and back patios.

What does a typical day look like?

We operate out of a house in the Gorge area. Technicians commute to the office where we prepare for the day. Preparing for the day includes a morning meeting inside the office where we go over Technicians' days and the jobs they'll be doing. Any questions or thoughts are answered during this time. After the meeting, we go outside the office to prepare the company vans. The company vans stay parked at the office. Preparing the van includes making sure you have all the equipment, materials, and supplies needed to complete the jobs for the day. After preparing the van,



the crew (two technicians) leaves for the day to complete their jobs. We do 2-3 jobs per day. Larger jobs are roof moss removal and pressure washing. Smaller jobs are gutter cleaning and exterior window cleaning. After finishing the jobs for the day, the crew returns to the office to park the company van.

Ideal Candidate

- Labour experience: lifting, twisting, and moving the body and hands to complete tasks
- Comfortable with being open to the process of working from heights and roofs
- Attention to detail: completing a thorough cleanup after a job is done
- Organized: knowing what equipment, materials, and supplies are in their van
- Efficient: minimizing extra movements while on-site, respecting the budgeted hours to complete a job

Training

An experienced technician provides hands-on, in-the-field training for new technicians. Training videos going over our services are also provided.

Compensation

- $24/hour starting wage with wage increases based on time spent with the company and performance.
- Pay range is based on potential bonuses from positive client feedback and other opportunities.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
