Responsibilities:
- Direct related experience working with persons with developmental and behavioural disabilities, mental health challenges and complex services needs.
- Provide care and support in their home and in the community for a person with developmental and behavioural disabilities, mental health challenges and complex services needs.
- Must be available to attend appointments and meetings during the day when required.
- Active participation as part of the individual’s support team.
- Ensure that the individual is included in community activities and is an active member of your household.
- Ability to help client balance social outings and relaxation time
- Willingness to do personal care when required
- Current Security Clearance (6 months) with Vulnerable Sector Check
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Related education: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Mental Health, First Aid/CPR, Positive Behaviour, and Abuse Protocol are assets.
- Minimum Class 5 Drivers License with $2 Million Liability Vehicle Insurance
