Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and assisting with various construction tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking areas to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, paint, stain, or finish coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care.
- Assist with drywall installation, repair, and finishing to support project progress.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting and construction tasks according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks including rigging, carpentry, and caulking.
- Support restoration projects by preparing surfaces and applying protective coatings in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly throughout the job site.
Requirements
- Previous construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with drywall, restoration, or industrial painting is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills and sanders.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Experience with caulking, rigging, carpentry, and the use of schematics enhances your suitability for this role.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
- Valuable time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Ability to work safely in a variety of environments while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Pay: $18.60-$26.64 per hour
