Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter (Red Seal if possible) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming blueprints and schematics into durable, high-quality structures. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and restoration work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship, work with a diverse range of materials, and help bring construction visions to life with precision and efficiency.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction projects.
- Construct, install, repair, and finish structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and cabinetry using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks for foundations, sidewalks, or other structures requiring concrete work.
- Install siding and drywall with attention to detail for smooth finishes and durability.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like lifting heavy materials or moving large structures.
- Execute restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork, fixtures,



or structural elements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
- Experience with concrete forming, siding installation, and drywall finishing.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws).
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for lifting or moving materials.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Construction experience across residential or commercial projects is highly desirable.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
