Duties

- Supervise children ages 4+ during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety at all times
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Provide tutoring support to help children with homework and reinforce learning concepts
- Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and curiosity
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space, adhering to safety standards
- Support children’s individual needs by applying childhood education principles and strategies

Requirements





- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development stages
- Robust communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to plan creative activities that cater to diverse learning styles
- Passion for supporting young learners’ growth
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to ensure consistent supervision
- Physical ability to pull a wagon, be on feet for extended periods, and maintain a positive attitude while running high energy activities
- Certification or training in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required initially; training can be provided
- Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and 3 References

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 15.0 per week
