Responsibilities

- Greet customers with a friendly, energetic attitude and assist them in selecting baked goods and other food items.
- Operate the POS system to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package bakery items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and provide correct change using basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Upsell bakery products and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.

Requirements





- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Pay: $17.60-$18.25 per hour
