We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy Trucks and Trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Welcoming only Journeyman at this time. CVIP License a Must.
Duties
- Conduct C.V.I.P. Inspection to a high standard to keep customers rolling and down time to a minimum
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic issues accurately.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble or assemble machinery parts during repairs.
- Heavy lifting of components or equipment using appropriate lifting devices while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and minimal downtime for equipment.
- Off Road equipment experience and asset.
And a good part of what we do as well as trucks.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or equivalent background in heavy Truck repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of excavators, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting and repair with the ability to read schematics effectively.
- Familiarity with Field Repairs and availability to work on call outs an asset.

Pay: $44.00-$52.00 per hour
