Overview
As our Sous Chef, you'll bring culinary delights to life for our guests, executing our menus across the T-Bar Pub and the Day Lodge cafeteria. Guest satisfaction starts with the food — its quality, flavor, and presentation — and you'll play a key role in delivering it. We encourage our cooks to get creative with daily specials and showcase their culinary skills. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you'll also contribute to scheduling, ordering, and stock rotation. Come join our team and work in the beautiful South Canadian Rocky Mountains!
What We Offer You
- $19.00 - $22.00/hour starting wage depending on experience, plus tips.

Responsibilities
- Comply with standards of service and assist in assuring the same for all kitchen associates.
- Assist in managing the daily operations.
- Participate in food preparation, producing a consistent product.
- Help control food waste.
- Ensure all food safe policies are followed.
- In conjunction with the Executive Chef, prepare unique and exciting daily specials.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all front house associates.
- Maintain all cooler logs to ensure all fridges are working within the parameters of health guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Previous sous chef experience.
- Knowledge of the standards and regulations for food preparation.
- Food safe certification is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education or trade certificates considered an asset.
Where We Are
Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for recent and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees.
