Job Summary

We are seeking a Locum Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team on a temporary basis (few days per week-your choice of day-for two weeks). In this role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough eye examinations and visual assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and senior care populations
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other treatments based on clinical findings
- Educate patients about eye health, preventive care, and available treatment options
- Utilize medical terminology accurately to document patient visits and communicate findings effectively




- Manage patient records using electronic health record systems (Acuitas 3)
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up procedures
- Assist in sales of optical products and accessories by providing expert advice tailored to individual needs

Qualifications

- Valid optometry license with current registration in Ontario
- Proven optical experience with a strong focus on patient care and clinical excellence
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient groups

Pay: $700.00-$1,000.00 per day
