About the Position Gateway Project Builder is looking for an experienced Window Installer to join our team in Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are looking for a skilled, reliable installer who has solid hands-on experience with window installation and, importantly, understands how to properly waterproof, level, square, and straighten windows to ensure a quality, long-lasting installation.

Responsibilities

Install and replace windows in residential and comrcial projects

Properly level, plumb, square, and straighten windows

Perform window waterproofing and flashing Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing around windows

Identify and correct installation issues

Work with various window types and installation methods

Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail

Follow job-site safety procedures

Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements

Proven experience as a window installer

Hands-on experience with window waterproofing is required





Experience leveling and straightening windows Strong understanding of proper window installation techniques

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation to job sites

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work safely and efficiently on residential and construction sites

Working at Heights training/certification WHMIS training 4-Step Safety training/certification

Compensation $25–$35/hour, depending on experience, skills, and quality of workmanship. Experienced candidates with strong waterproofing and window correction skills are encouraged to apply.
