The Prospect:

The Ministry of Finance is seeking one multi-skilled professional for the position of Planning and Policy Consultant.

Reporting to the Manager of Planning, Policy and Legislative Services, the Consultant will:

- Support the development and renewal of strategic and annual plans by gathering inputs, facilitating planning discussions, monitoring and communicating progress;
- Manage and coordinate reporting and accountability activities for the ministry, including the development of internal and public reports;
- Facilitate and build capacity in divisions and branches to engage in division planning and progress monitoring;
- Coordinate materials for the ministry's annual budget submission, working with key stakeholders to gain insight on ministry risks, emerging trends, and strategic priorities.
- Maintain and support the development of corporate policies for the ministry, communicating key changes to stakeholders;
- Provide project and change management expertise in the development and execution of ministry strategies and initiatives; and
- Support the coordination of the ministry's committees' actions and governance to promote a positive workplace culture.
