Janitorial Services ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Janitorial Services Manager to lead our facilities operations team. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating all aspects of our janitorial and facilities services operations. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance operational excellence with staff development while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Permanent Full‑time (32hrs per week).



Work locations may vary as constant travel is required to visit different client sites. Flexible hours with day shifts.JOB DUTIES
Operational Leadership
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations of janitorial and facilities services across multiple client sitesEstablish and implement comprehensive policies and procedures for all staff and service delivery operationsEnsure consistent quality standards and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsPlan and control departmental budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost‑saving opportunitiesManage inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency and minimize wasteOversee procurement processes and vendor relationshipsClient Relations & Problem Resolution
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and complaintsDevelop and implement solutions to operational challenges and service issuesMaintain strong client relationships through regular communication and service reviewsBusiness Development & Marketing
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal developmentHire, train, and supervise janitorial and facilities staffConduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and developmentFoster a positive, safety‑focused work culture that promotes excellence and accountabilitySchedule and coordinate staff assignments across client locationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
Completion of secondary school is required.A college diploma or vocational certificate in facilities management, business administration is preferred.Experience




One to less than two years of experience in a similar role in a janitorial service company or cleaning service company or facilities managementBudgetary responsibility up to CAD$100,000Leadership and supervision of working groupsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to work independentlyJudgment, collaborative and analyticalProblem‑solving mindset with ability to make sound decisions under pressureAssets
