Our HSI organization develops leading-edge high-speed SerDes IP for Qualcomm’s diverse roadmap with a primary focus on High-Performance Compute and Data Center applications. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Design Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team of talented innovators.What you will do:
Own the end-to-end verification of new features and optimizationsVerify designs which support next-generation protocols such as Ethernet and PCIeProve designs for function,



performance and powerEmploy AI-enabled tools and infrastructure to accelerate developmentAssess design requirements/specifications and devise verification plansBuild/enhance testbenches and analyze simulation failuresIntegrate 3rd party VIPs for compliance testing of standard protocolsContribute towards the continuous improvement of verification methodologies and processesWork with technical and project managers to create development plans and schedulesTake on opportunities to lead, plan, and coordinate tasks with team membersSupport post-silicon validation and bring-up activities including debug and documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with design verification, design integration, systems, analog, firmware/software, physical design, SoC, and project management teamsWhat you will need:
ASIC design verification experience including coding in Verilog/SystemVerilogAn applied understanding of UVM and verification techniquesExperience with constrained-random verification in SystemVerilog and UVMFormal Verification and Power-aware verification techniquesTools/languages: Verilog/System Verilog, Python, Perl, C/C++, GNU Make, EDA toolsWorking knowledge of scripting and the Linux/Unix environmentProven problem solving and analytical skillsProven effective communication and organizational skillsExperience delivering multiple parallel programs on scheduleStrong initiative and independently capable of driving tasks to completionTechnical leadership skills to own new initiatives end-to-endExperience with Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes PHY, DSP, and mixed-signal IP is highly desirableApplicants:

$129,600.00 - $179,600.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and chance for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
