We work alongside families of children, youth and adults with developmental delays or disabilities to support growth, development and personal well-being. We work with hundreds of community members and professionals to welcome and include all people, and foster vibrant and healthy communities. We serve the communities of New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra. self-expression, and community connectionAssist with personal care, emotional and social support, and medical needs as requiredAdvocate for people's rights, choices, and inclusion in all areas of lifeFollow individualized care plans and help build new routines based on personal preferencesWhat You Bring:Diploma in Human Services, Community Support, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities and behavior challengesStrong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)Experience with personal care and supporting diverse care needs (an asset)Class 5 Driver's License required (Class 4 preferred); personal vehicle requiredCurrent First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and Food Safe certificationsStrong communication skills and a passion for building inclusive communitiesUnion membership required (BCGEU)About Kinsight:We proudly serve the communities of Recent Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra, creating opportunities for people to build meaningful relationships and thrive.To learn more about Kinsight:Watch: Kinsight in our CommunityVisit: www.Kinsight.OrgAt Kinsight, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
