This full time, permanent Program Director, Environment position entails reporting to the Executive Director. Your responsibilities will include developing ambitious strategies for urban greenspaces and restoring Atlantic Canada's freshwater habitats. Leverage your leadership experience and strategic thinking to elevate the Foundation’s environmental grantmaking initiatives and strengthen community ties.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and codify environmental funding strategies • Oversee grant portfolios and assess program alignment • Engage multi-stakeholder groups for constructive dialogues • Track and maintain detailed records of grant activities • Draft grant agreements and manage legal liaising

Requirements: • Relevant advanced degree in urban planning or ecology • Minimum five years in a leadership capacity in related fields • Robust capabilities in project management and performance evaluation • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills • Proficient in grant management systems and Microsoft Office
