Reporting to the Product Compliance and Data Systems Lead, with a dotted-line relationship to the Quality Systems and Regulatory Compliance Lead, you will support product testing, supplier compliance, certification management, quality systems, and the creation and maintenance of product Tech Packs.What You Will Do:Product Compliance & Tech Pack ManagementCreate and maintain product Tech Packs in alignment with product specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectationsManage version control and document integrity across MIP's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)Support the ongoing improvement of product documentation, compliance processes, and quality standardsMaintain quality specifications, finished goods inspection criteria,



and product documentationProduct Testing & Quality AssuranceCoordinate product quality testing and inspections with suppliers and third-party laboratoriesManage external testing programs and ensure timely follow-up of test results and corrective actionsConduct and document in-house product testing, including wash testing, shrinkage testing, mattress fitting evaluations, and new product introduction (NPI) inspectionsReview and assess laboratory reports, inspection findings, and product quality resultsApprove or reject pre-production samples based on established quality standardsMonitor and report on product performance, stability testing, and quality trendsCertifications & Supplier ComplianceCoordinate certification submissions and supporting documentation for programs such as OEKO-TEX®, Green Button (Grüner Knopf), and other applicable standardsTrack product and supplier certifications, ensuring renewals and compliance requirements are maintainedMaintain supplier quality, testing, and social compliance documentationEnsure certification and compliance data is accurately reflected within MIP's systemsQuality Systems & Complaint SupportSupport customer complaint investigations through sample tracking, documentation management, and follow-up coordinationMaintain complaint records within the eQMS and assist with complaint triage activitiesSupport non-conformance investigations and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiativesAssist with root cause documentation, action tracking, and quality improvement projectsParticipate in quality meetings and support ongoing Quality Management System (QMS) initiativesSupport sustainability initiatives, including Greenhouse Gas (GHG)



emissions data collection and reportingWhat You BringDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Quality Management, Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in quality control, product testing, compliance, or a related role within textiles, apparel, healthcare products, or consumer goodsExperience working with product testing laboratories, supplier quality programs, and inspection processesStrong understanding of product construction, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Experience creating or maintaining product Tech Packs is considered a strong assetFamiliarity with certification programs such as OEKO-TEX®, Made in Green, Green Button, or equivalent standardsExperience working with ERP, PLM, and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS)Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience using Adobe Illustrator to create technical drawings is considered an assetStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentFounded in 2008, Banyan Capital Partners is a leading Canadian mid-market private equity firm with a successful track record.
