Senior/Principal Structural Geologist – Vancouver, BC, CanadaSRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector.We are seeking a Senior/Principal Structural Geologist.Description Of ResponsibilitiesAs a senior‐to‐principal level consultant within our Vancouver‐based geology team, your general responsibilities will include belt‐to‐deposit‐scale structural analysis and interpretation of mineralized systems. Our work incorporates field analysis, advanced 3‐D modeling, and geophysical interpretation applied from early exploration through mining project development (including resource and engineering studies) to operational support.An important aspect of working for SRK will be the development of your consultancy. We encourage all engineers and scientists to grow their consulting skills under the broad SRK umbrella; the successful applicant will therefore be expected to establish and maintain client relationships.Essential RequirementsA postgraduate degree specializing in the structural geology of ore deposits, preference for PhDApplied structural geology experience in an exploration or operational capacity, including field‐oriented,



belt‐to‐deposit‐scale structural analysis and the interpretation of mineralized systemsA solid theoretical background with demonstrated competence in defining applied solutionsProficiency with GIS and 3‐D modeling softwareProfessional registration or eligibility to obtain itProven ability to work independently and as part of a team to generate, implement, and complete projectsAn established network within the mining industryStrong written and verbal communication skillsDynamic and energetic leadership skills, including the ability to mentor younger consultantsAdditional Beneficial ExperienceExperience with modern, implicit modelling tools and/or geophysical interpretationPrior consulting experienceIn this position, you will work in multidisciplinary teams on projects around the world and may be required to travel internationally.
