Join Cologix as a Payroll Accounting Specialist in Denver, Colorado. This key role focuses on bi-weekly payroll processing and compliance for U.S. and Canadian teams.
In this position, reporting to the Senior Operational Accounting Manager, you will ensure accurate payroll processing while managing payroll accounting and reconciliations. Your expertise in Canadian payroll and compliance will support key responsibilities, including filing Records of Employment and effective communication with employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and process bi-weekly payroll for multiple subsidiaries
• Research and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently
• Maintain the Dayforce payroll system for accuracy




• Prepare timely general ledger transactions
• Organize sub-ledger transaction files and ensure compliance
Requirements:
• BS degree in Accounting or 5+ years in payroll accounting
• Experience with both U.S. and Canadian payroll processing
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Solid communication skills and adaptability
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce preferred
