Position SummaryThe Stewarding Supervisor will be responsible for all Stewarding operations of the Stewarding department and monitoring all aspects of cleanliness and health standards.ResponsibilitiesRecognizes and greets all guests and team members firstProvides exceptional and professional service to our guests and team membersEnsures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting potential hazardsModels all Deerhurst Resort Standards while caring for the guests, co-workers and ownersComfortable making responsible decisions and develops recommendations for effective problem solvingDevelop and continue to build strong team relationships within the department and inter-departmentally under the direction of the Steward ManagerWork closely with outlet leaders to maintain adequate levels of china, silver and glass par stock levels in all outletsPlays an active role in the recruiting process, departmental orientation and training of new associatesAssist in monitoring and striving to exceed budgetary guidelinesFollow up with Supervisors to ensure adequate training has been provided to associatesProvides daily coaching and development to the Stewarding Supervisors and AssociatesAssist in the operations of the Stewarding department to ensure friendly, courteous and efficient service is extended to all guests and associatesReviewing daily schedule business levels vs. Departmental staffing requirementsUpdate Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper guest needs and requirementsCompleting quarterly inventory checks to ensure adequate supply of tools, chemicals,
