OverviewLocation: Remote project locations throughout YukonCompany: Cobalt Construction Inc.Position Type: SeasonalCobalt Construction Inc. is a leading Yukon-based earthworks and civil construction contractor specializing in large-scale mining, road construction, site development, and heavy civil infrastructure projects. We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Haul Truck Drivers to operate large-capacity rock trucks in support of major road construction and earthworks projects throughout the Yukon.This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging northern projects while operating some of the largest haulage equipment in the industry.The Haul Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of 700-ton haul trucks and other heavy equipment used in road construction, mining, and earthworks operations. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors, equipment operators, and site personnel to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and equipment care.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate 700-ton rock trucks in accordance with company policies, site procedures, and manufacturer specificationsHaul rock, overburden, aggregate, and other construction materials throughout the project siteConduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspectionsComplete daily equipment logs, inspection reports, and production recordsCommunicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other operators via radioFollow designated haul routes, traffic management plans, and site speed limitsIdentify and report equipment defects, hazards, incidents, or near missesMaintain awareness of changing weather, road, and site conditionsAssist with fueling, servicing,
