Blue Ridge Ranger Board is currently recruiting for a Certified Electrician.Reporting to the Electrical supervisor, you would be a key player in the company-wide safety culture, continuous improvement effort through daily use of troubleshooting, predictive, PDM, and preventive maintenance strategies.Maintain a safe work environmentBe responsible for your own personal safetyEnsure consistent operations of all electrical equipment at the complexVerify and document repairs via computer-based softwareMonitor product quality and provide feedbackAbility to read Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Schneider's suite of controllersPreventive maintenance with small construction projectsTroubleshooting various pieces of equipment, with other tradesYou have:Several years of experience as an ElectricianExperience in instrumentationCandidates require Alberta Electrical trade qualifications or Electrical Red Seal CertificateStrong organizational and communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and team building skillsDemonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skillsAn understanding of Process Controls and Instrumentation, including but not limited to electric over pneumatic, or hydraulic, GE Ifix systems, Schneider PLC's, Mitsubishi VFD systemsWeekend and/or shift work will be requiredConsidered a solid asset:Previous experience working in an industrial environmentCompensation Package:The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education,
