Locations for these positions will be required for various mining operations within multiple areas in Northern Ontario including Sudbury, Chapleau and Timmins.What We Offer:Full-time and Temporary work available.$30 - $37 per hourBenefits and pension start upon hireEligible for OvertimeShift work will be required, typical shifts will be 7-7 AM or PMVariety:changing work scopes from one day to the next - there is always a new challengeBe a part of a trueteam. with great peopleKey Duties & Responsibilities:Operate proficiently hydrovac equipment, high pressure water equipment and various specialty toolsComplete minor maintenance and checks on hydrovac equipmentProficient in driving manual transmissions90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!Provide guidance to Labourers as requiredEnsure safety for all team members and propertyWork as part of a team and follow direction from supervisionWork outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsComplete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documentsStrictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirementsChallenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every timeOther duties as assignedQualificationsValid class AZ or DZ licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years2-3+ years of directly related work experience operating hydrovacs is requiredMust pass a CEDA's Driver Assessment in a manual transmission (10, 13 and 18 speed)Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol testAble to travel throughout Ontario (flexibility in scheduling is required)Skills:Strong mechanical aptitudeYou are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentExperience and comfort with confined spacesPerform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygenYou're happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safelyThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
