Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day food service operations at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre. This role includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating all aspects of the operation, while providing strong leadership and guidance to a team of food service associates.Every day, we're finding new ways to positively impact your industry. Aramark's services focus on enhancing productivity, creating an engaging environment, and promoting healthy living.Business and Government - Aramark [https://www.Aramark.Ca/industries/business-and-industry]JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the smooth day-to-day operation, with flexibility to support front-line duties as needed for hotel guest meals, meetings and public catering functions such as weddings, conferences, etc.Manage and direct a unionized team of up to 6 cooks and dishwashersImplements and lead compliance on all Aramark operating standards, legislated standards, including company policies and procedures, Health and Safety Standards and Safe Food HandlingDevelop operational forecasts for each period and analyze variances in costs and operational activitiesOverseeing staff scheduling, monitor daily labour metricsManage inventory controls, including food, labour and direct costsSupport monthly inventory processes and reportingEnsure delivery of high quality, courteous service to all customersCollaborate with the team on recruitment, staffing, labour management,
