you understand that great leaders build people just as much as they build projectsKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan and supervise landscape construction work to maximize productivity and meet project schedulesBeing hands-on in field construction involved in all aspects of project construction including planning, construction, quality, and safetyCommunicating to the Foreman upcoming needs for the project including materials, manpower and equipmentIdentify and resolve field issues before they impact productionEnsure all work meets company standards, project specifications, and client expectationsEnsures that all work is being done safely and in an efficient manner that maintains Wilco's excellent qualityTrain, coach, and develop crew members while identifying future leaders with a focus on Wilco procedures and safe work practicesComplete daily reporting, safety documentation, and payroll confirmation using modern field technologyRequirementsMinimum 3 years of Landscaping ExperienceProven experience as Landscape Lead HandSuccessful completion of a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testDemonstrable leadership skillsSolid understanding of landscaping, tree and shrub planting, pavers and concreteComfortable using tablets, construction software, and digital reporting systemsAbility to read construction drawings, grades, and survey informationExperience with GPS machine control, laser levels, or related construction technology is an assetWork unsupervised with a 3-5 person crewHave solid knowledge of the fundamental principals of landscaping including grading, planting and hardscapeValid drivers licenseBenefitsCompetitive wages with overtime payReliable hours and job stabilityIncredible work setting and team atmosphereTraining & Development.
