This role involves operating and maintaining equipment such as a loader, forklift, railcar moving equipment, and skid steer to load and unload products. The Terminal Operator ensures compliance with safety regulations and company procedures while working closely within teams to coordinate shipments, manage inventory,



and resolve any operational challenges.ResponsibilitiesUnload various materials consisting of a variety of bulk liquid and dry products dailyUnderstand and follow operating procedures and policiesOperate railcar loading systems and equipmentOperate railcar movers to safely and effectively move tank and grain cars in the rail yardCross-train on all operations at the facilityCommunicate effectively and ask questionsComplete necessary documentationActively participate in safety training as it applies to work tasksAdhere to company policies and procedures and enforce them with other employees, contractors, and visitorsAssist with general duties within the facility (general maintenance, yard upkeep)Requirements to be successful in this position:High school diploma or GEDReliable transportationFor safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in EnglishAvailable to work overtime and weekendsProfessional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)Able to pass a criminal background checkHere are some of the physical requirements for this role:This job can be physically strenuousYou will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spacesYou will work at heightsYou will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally moreYou will work outside in inclement weatherYou will work with hazardous materialsThis job will require the ability to ascend/descend laddersYou will be required to wear PPEAdditional Information:A complete job description is available upon requestBartlett is fully committed to abiding by all equal opportunity employment standards.
