As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering both general and specialized nursing services. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and recent experience in emergency situations. You will be expected to work certain holidays and weekends while maintaining proficiency in emergency protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized care in a fast-paced environment
• Perform nursing duties according to established standards
• Maintain a minimum of 33.75 hours/month, including weekends




• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff
• Document care accurately in Meditech Expanse
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BScN or Diploma in Nursing with preference given to BScN
• 1-2 years experience in an Emergency Department
• Current certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and PALS
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification needed
