Stonehooker Brewing Company is looking for a dedicated, reliable Facilities Lead who has hands-on maintenance and packaging experience to join the Stonehooker crew on our journey to bring our delicious beer to the mouths of thirsty customersThe primary focus of this position is through various cellaring and brewing activities. This role will touch all areas of the brewhouse from time to time; production, cellaring, inventory, packaging etc.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the packaging process on our 4 head Wild Goose canning line and kegging beer using our washer/filler unit and manual fillerQuality assuranceAssisting brewing team with brewing related issues, projectsTroubleshooting equipment problems within the brewhouseFiltration of select beersCleaning, sanitation and maintenance of brewhouse equipment and cellarsSanitizing of tanks, filter equipment, hoses, etc.Proper handling of chemicals required for sanitization and cleaning of equipmentUnderstanding and practicing all internal safety standardsBeing an everyday ambassador for delicious Stonehooker beerExperience & RequirementsPassion for all things Craft Beer with a focus on the local communityGood trouble shooting skills,



and strong mechanical/electrical aptitudeGood written and verbal communication skillsA problem solver with attention to detailPrior commercial brewing experience preferredGood knowledge of brewing recipes, styles, raw ingredients and processGood organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervisionEnjoys working under pressure and at a fast paceExperience handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocolsExperience in a production setting preferred; experience with brewingan asset.Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive motions for extended periods of timeMust be able to frequently lift 50 to 100 poundsUnderstanding of the craft beer lifestyleKnowledge of Wild Goose 4 head system.Monitoring the beer in the cellarBasic lab workOrganizing and scheduling packaging in kegs and cansMaintaining adequate inventory for packagingAssist with brewing on 15 HL system.Job Type: part time contact, after hours contract
