invites applications for the position of: Janitor Kaw Tay Whee School in Dettah Continuing position Part time (50% FTE) 4 Hour Shift - 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Minimum requirements for the position include a high school diploma. Preference will be given to candidates who have: Previous janitorial/cleaning experience, related experience deemed acceptable by the Janitor Supervisor may also be considered Willingness to work in a multicultural environment around teachers, students, and the public Experience working in a school/commercial setting WHMIS training Basic computer skills Knowledge of proper floor care of resilient flooring and carpet, including stripping, waxing, buffing and steam cleaning Must have the physical ability to perform some laborious duties such as snow shovelling and heavy lifting Only those applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. All YK1 employees must undergo a criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
