Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th , 2027. Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on‑site.

The Data analyst in the Spare parts department is responsible for automation and improvement of various reports. He also develops data analytics tools to detect and anticipate issues. He assumes responsibility for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project. He contributes to his team or department by applying his knowledge of several functional areas. What will your day‑to‑day look like?

- Automate and improve existing reports.
- Develop through Power BI, tools and reports to enable better decision-making in Spare parts organization.
- Develop processes and methodology to improve the quality of the master data (Pricing, ELM codes, model family group...).

What do you need to be successful?

- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on‑site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in computer science - programming.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
- A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the (candidate) will interact.

Assets:

- Knowledge in programming (ideally Python).
- Excellent knowledge of Excel (VBA).
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
- Project management skills.

Although this position is part of a French‑speaking work setting, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
