and repair drilling rig components and equipment according to engineering drawings and quality standardsPerform basic welding using GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW processes with manual and semi-automatic equipmentApply foundational knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and trade math to support fabrication tasksFollow proper lifting, rigging, and hoisting practices in accordance with safety standardsMaintain a clean, safe work setting while supporting general shop operations and team activitiesWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:High school diploma or GED required; completion of the firstperiod of vocational welding training or equivalent apprenticeship in progressMinimum 1+ year of shop or manufacturing experience preferred, with progress toward required on-the-jobtraining hoursAbility to read structural blueprints and welding symbols is an assetStrong commitment to safety, with working knowledge of OHS regulations, WHMIS, and proper PPE useDetail-oriented, self-motivatedteam player with good communication skills and a basic understanding of hand and power toolsTake your career to new heights with Precision Drilling—where innovation, safety, and opportunity drive success—.
