As a Proposal Strategist, you provide strategic and tactical support to help win current business for our practice, across all services and sectors. You'll actively participate in the proposal management and strategy while co-authoring content for proposals, oral presentations, and other pursuit collateral. In the role, you will work with Client Executives, client service professionals, designers, other Proposal Strategists across Canada, as well as an international team of Proposal Coordinators.Your key responsibilities:Drive the strategic communications process on large, complex and strategically significant proposalsResearch, write and edit standard and customized proposal contentContribute and/or facilitate meetings with bid response team membersCoach and develop collateral for oral presentationsFacilitate win strategy sessionsProject manage the process which includes the coordination of information from contributors and follow-up on action items to achieve a coordinated team effortMonitor the progress of all proposal activities for adherence to deadlines and quality standardsShare leading practices with proposal teamsReview final proposal collateral for quality, format and content for adherence to the firm's brand standardsServe as a liaison between the proposal response team and other support functionsBuild and leverage relationships within the Markets Organization across the countryManage multiple proposals and priorities simultaneouslySkills and attributes for success:Exceptional writing and editing skillsStrong business acumenOrganized, detail-oriented and highly deadline-drivenStrong project management skills, the ability to establish priorities, set and manage schedules,
and coordinate multiple projects at one timeAbility to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationHighly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and cloud-based technology3-5 years relevant experienceStrong understanding of proposal management and development for professional servicesExperience in professional services (e.G., accounting, management consulting, legal, etc) is highly desirableA background in proposals, content writing or communicationsUndergraduate degree required (major in Language, Communications, Marketing or Business)This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required.
