Responding to information requests from potential clients and completing bookings for permanent and short-term resident stays as requiredProviding tours to prospective clients and other interested personsMaintaining the Sales/Information Package; reviewing the contents with all new clientsAssisting with the admission; transfer to other services lines, and discharge of clients in coordination with the management teamManaging all aspects of the sales process to help prospects and their families make the decision to choose a retirement communityDeveloping and executing quarterly sales and marketing plans to deliver on budgeted occupancy objectivesEngage in healthcare professional outreach programs that build relationships and generate referrals through local clinics and groupsDeveloping advertising and promotional strategiesAdditional duties as requiredQualificationsA diploma or degree in marketing, public relations, or another related field3-5 years of sales or marketing experience, including event planningProficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite productsA valid Class 5 Driver's LicenseSuccessful candidates will be required to obtain a explicit Criminal Record Check, and where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check, prior to appointment.Previous experience in working with the elderly in a long-term care or a seniors' independent living environment considered an assetA passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
