Knowledge of South Asian languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, etc.



is an asset.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with organizing conferences, workshops, and symposiumsCollaborating with the Research Associate and supporting themResearching/Locating, collating, and annotating key literatureResearch, editing and typing of academic journal articles and booksDevelop and maintain files on issues related to the current projectConduct library and online research as requiredAssist with photocopying, typing, filing, and overall organization of materialsCommunication with faculty, peers, relevant internal and external partners as directedPrepare summary reportsSupporting with writing, citations, and document layoutCo-authoring short pieces (author profiles, book reviews) with the supervisorCreating infographics of key findingsSupport with revising, editing, and analyzing written piecesAmplifying research findings and other relevant details through social mediaQualificationsQualified candidates will have an interest in and/or knowledge of South Asian literature and cinema, and social justice issuesStrong writing and communication skillsCompleting tasks within assigned deadlinesRegular and consistent delivery of assigned tasksExperience with researching, writing, editingAbility to follow direction with minimal supervisionDemonstrated robust attention to detailAbility to use MS Office tools including databases for tracking or qualitative and/or quantitative studiesGood interpersonal,
