It's better here.The OpportunityExperienced Property Claims Adjuster responsible for managing property claims from intake to resolution, including coverage assessment, vendor coordination, payment processing, and salvage/subrogation activities. The successful person will come with commercial property experience.What to ExpectAccepting notice of claim and working with the customer and preferred Vendors to resolve the claim quickly and efficientlyConfirming policy coverage by ensuring the facts of the claim fall within the scope of the policyMaintaining detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systemsProcessing claims payments within level of authority after verifying claimant's entitlementInitiating salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned filesWhat You BringUniversity degree in any discipline or a college diploma in one of the following programs: 2-year diploma from a provincially recognized and funded community college in Insurance, Law & Security, Loss Control, Business Administration or the CIP designation5-8 year's experience adjusting property claimsExperience of commercial property claims would be an assetLicensed in Recent Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland would be an assetFamiliarity with Guidewire systemProficient in MS Word and ExcelBilingual capabilities (French and English) would be an assetProfessional,
